Truman State University Chapter

Welcome, Members!

I’d like to take this opportunity to extend a welcome to both old and new members of the Truman chapter of NSCS.  First of all, congratulations on meeting the high academic standards of this organization, especially at a school as challenging as Truman!  Now, I hope that you make the most of your membership by becoming involved with your local NSCS chapter.  This website is designed to allow you, the member, a window into NSCS activities at both the local and national levels.  Using the navigation bar on the left, feel free to browse “About NSCS” for a list of frequently asked questions.  See “Community Service” for both past and upcoming service events, “Meetings” for topics that we will or have covered during weekly chapter meetings, “Officers” for information on this year’s officer board, and “NSCS Conferences” for information and pictures of regional and national conventions.

The benefits of becoming involved in this organization are many, and I am very grateful that I decided to become involved after accepting my invitation to join NSCS.  All that I have put in to this great organization has come back to me many fold.  I’ve received discounts on services I was already using, developed my leadership skills, formed friendships with amazing people, and attended a national conference in Philadelphia, PA.  I hope you, too, decide to make the most of your NSCS membership; I can promise you that you will get back way more than you put in!

All the best!
